Philanthropy

The Theta Chapter of Kappa Sigma is dedicated to Kappa Sigma's four pillars of Fellowship, Leadership, Scholarship, and Service.  Theta fulfills the pillar of Service in a number of ways.  In the Fort Worth community the chapter participates in the Tarrant County Adopt-A-Highway Program, in which the chapter twice a semester cleans the trash along it's two mile stretch of highway.  Theta Chapter is also an active participant in the Fort Worth Zoo's Boo at the Zoo event every October.  Many members are involved in Big Brothers of Fort Worth and volunteer at soup kitchens around the area.

Around the TCU community, Theta Chapter is dedicated to Service in numerous ways as well.  Each year the chapter participates in the TCU Leaps community service program. Kappa Sigma also participates in the many fund raisers and philanthropy events held by other Greek organizations throughout the year.  On April 25th - 30th, our chapter will hold its second annual Kappa Sigma Beach, which will be a week long philanthropy event, including volleyball tournament, and sign hang open to the sororities on Campus.  Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Kappa Sigma National Philanthropy of Big Brothers and Big Sisters of America.
